Germany: Nord Stream woes affect France, Austria, Czech Republic

BERLIN, Jun 17 (PRIME) -- The decrease of transportation via Russia's Nord Stream gas pipeline has affected supplies in France, Austria and the Czech Republic, while the situation in Germany remains stable, the Federal Network Agency of Germany (BNetzA) said on Friday.

Pumping remains at 40% of the technical capacity, the authority said.

The local companies still buy gas from different suppliers, and can fill the storages, which are 56.29% full -- significantly more than in the same period on the past years.

On Tuesday, Gazprom said that it was able to pump up to 100 million cubic meters of gas per day through the Nord Stream pipeline, despite the plan of 167 million cubic meters, because of equipment troubles at the Portovaya compressor station.
